Dining · Cosmopolitan

The Cosmopolitan was built around food, and it shows: a dining floor of destination restaurants, a famous (if secret) pizza window and a buffet that broke the mold. This is the insider's route through it.

Las Vegas Strip at night
The short list

Where to eat,
start to finish

No resort on the Strip puts food this central. The restaurants here are destinations on their own terms, and the crowd energy makes every meal feel like an event.

The hacks matter: the secret entrance to the pizza window, the buffet's odd-hour pricing and which tables face the Strip.

01

Beauty & Essex

The pawn-shop entrance hides a glamorous dining room. Small plates, oysters and a Champagne bar that stays loud.

David Chang's Vegas room: pork buns, fried chicken and the noodle dishes that made the name.

03

STK Steakhouse

The modern steakhouse with the see-and-be-seen bar, a reliable carnivore stop.

Modern Japanese izakaya-style dining with robata skewers, sushi and a stylish room.

Check it out

José Andrés' Spanish tapas room: jamón, paella and the chef's always-something-new energy.

The breakfast-cult favorite: egg sandwiches worth the line, especially before a buffet-free morning.

07

Wicked Spoon

The buffet that rethought the genre: smaller portions, better quality, individual servings. Go weekday lunch for the value.

08

Secret Pizza

The unmarked pizza window behind the unmarked door. Ask almost any employee and they will point you to it.

01 · How

How to plan the visit

Reservations at the big rooms fill early; the bar at Beauty & Essex and STK serves the menus to walk-ins. For the famous windows, breakfast at Eggslut and late-night at Secret Pizza are the civilized windows.

The Chandelier Bar, three floors of bar inside a giant chandelier, is the best pre-dinner drink spot in the building, and its strip-view position beats most restaurants' tables.

02 · The

The value play

Wicked Spoon at lunch and the casual stalls around the casino floor keep the Cosmopolitan experience affordable for the days between splurges.

And the resort's position next to the Park promenade means Aria and Park MGM's dining are one short walk away.

Moving to Las Vegas? The food is part of the decision.

When clients relocate, the dining scene is one of the best ways to feel out a neighborhood. I can point you to the restaurants that make each corner of the valley home.
