Dining · Bellagio

Bellagio's dining floor runs from casual Italian cafés to two of the most storied fine-dining rooms in the city, with a lot of very good ground in between. Here is how to eat there well, whatever the occasion.

Elegant fine-dining room at a luxury Las Vegas resort
The short list

Where to eat,
start to finish

Bellagio built its reputation on sophistication, and the dining lineup matches: French classics, Italian with a view of the fountains, a Wolfgang Puck original and a seafood room that has outlasted most of its Strip competition.

The practical reality for visitors: book ahead, especially for fountain-view tables, and know that the room at enjoy is often as memorable as the food.

Italian small plates and the best fountain-adjacent terrace on the property. Book a patio table at dusk.

Le Cirque

The long-running French fine-dining star, elegant and old-school in the best sense. A full-evening experience.

05

Spago

Wolfgang Puck's original Vegas outpost: reliable California cuisine and a lively bar scene.

06

Sadelle's Café

The airy all-day café known for bagels, big breakfasts and a chic room that feels like a Soho brunch.

01 · How

How to plan the visit

Reservations through the MGM Resorts dining page or the individual restaurant sites open well in advance, and fountain-view tables are the first to go. If a patio seat at LAGO matters, book weeks ahead, not days.

The Buffet at Bellagio still draws a crowd for weekend brunch; weekday lunches are the civilized move. Dress codes at the fine-dining rooms are business-casual to jacket-level, so check when you book.

02 · The

The walk-in backup plan

If the reservation-heavy rooms are full, the bar at Spago serves the full menu to bar guests, and the café seats and the gelato bar handle the casual side without a booking.

The conservatory display changes seasonally and is free to walk through, which makes a long pre-dinner stroll the best cheap appetizer on the Strip.

Moving to Las Vegas? The food is part of the decision.

When clients relocate, the dining scene is one of the best ways to feel out a neighborhood. I can point you to the restaurants that make each corner of the valley home.
