It is a distinct, consumer-facing community with its own name, its Del Webb 55+ Club section and the city's Madeira Canyon Park, and it is not one of the six Anthem member communities.

Above Anthem, on its own
Madeira Canyon occupies the high ground above Anthem Highlands, built out from the mid-2000s by the same Del Webb and Pulte family of builders. It carries its own identity, clubs and park, and while its address sits within the Anthem master, it is not counted among the six Anthem Community Council member communities.
