Located in the Spring Mountains of southern Nevada, and part of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, the area offers hiking, camping and picnic areas as well as a modest ski area. The Mount Charleston peak is the eighth most prominent peak in the United States and reaches to an elevation of 11,918 feet.
